Marj is one of the co-founding members of the Snowshoe Shufflers. She came to Whitehorse in Feb./77 to partake
in the Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous and was hooked. She has two children, Katie and Tom and a special man in her life,
Fred. Marj can now add mother-in-law to her credentials as Katie married at the end of December 2008 (congrats Katie).
Marj is a successful (meaning incredibly busy) real estate agent with Colwell Banker. Never without a cell phone
close by, Marj is always busy volunteering for numerous boards and helping out in many, many events. She's received
numerous awards and accolades over the years for her motivation and dedication to the success of each project she participates
in.
The "tall and willowy red head" is so dedicated, she listed Snowshoe Shuffling as her hobby!!
Marj is a very proud military mom with her son Tom having already served one tour in Afghanistan.
Now that Marj is "of a certain age", she is taking a little more time to enjoy life's blessings. One of these is
a great, private cabin on (you guessed it!) Lake Laberge where there is no phone service!!! It's hard to believe she'll
ever retire from real estate but she can never retire from Snowshoe Shuffling!!!
